Tonight, Secret Someones are back in New York City for the night and they headline the show at The Knitting Factory in Williamsburg. Hannah Winkler, Bess Rogers, Zach Jones and Lelia Broussard (in that order in the photo above) rock. The three women in the band contribute songs, take turns on lead vocals and sing backup. Instrumentally, it’s Bess on electric guitar, Lelia on bass, Hannah on keys, acoustic guitar and tambourine and Zach on drums. There are harmonies and power chords galore and even a bit of an influence from The Cars.
Secret Someones have been signed to Cherry Tree Records. They have a new EP out and a full album coming later this year. Expect to hear more from and about this wonderfully hard rocking band. Lazer Cake and Paris Monster will open the show tonight.
